New to sports betting? Don’t worry, partner — here’s a straight-shootin’ breakdown of the most common bet types. Each one comes with an example so you can saddle up with confidence.
1X2 – Full-Time Result
The classic showdown: who’s gonna win the match?
1 = Home team wins
X = Draw
2 = Away team wins
Example:
Match: Flamengo vs SC Internacional
Pick 1 → Flamengo must win.
Pick X → The match must end in a draw.
Pick 2 → Internacional must win.
Note: 1X2 bets cover 90 minutes plus added time — but not extra time or penalties.
Over/Under Goals – Totals
Here you’re callin’ how many goals will be scored in total, no matter who rides home the winner.
Over 2.5 → 3 or more goals = Win
Under 2.5 → 2 or fewer goals = Win
Example:
Match ends Flamengo 2 – 1 Internacional (3 total goals).
Bet on Over 2.5 → ✅ Win
Bet on Under 2.5 → ❌ Lose
You might also see Over/Under 1.5, 3.5, and more.
Double Chance
Want to hedge your bets like a careful cowboy? Double Chance lets you cover two outcomes with one wager.
1X = Home win OR draw
X2 = Draw OR away win
12 = Home win OR away win (no draw)
Example:
Match: Flamengo vs SC Internacional
Pick X2 → You win if it’s a draw or Internacional wins.
Pick 12 → You win if either team wins (as long as it’s not a draw).
Tip: Odds are lower than a single bet, but your chances of winning are higher.
Final Tip
If you’re new on this trail, start simple. 1X2, Over/Under Goals, and Double Chance are great places to build confidence before you try the trickier markets.
